For people moved to donate money below £1000.00 we recommend the Disasters Emergencies Committee. This remains the best way that the generous people of the UK can make individual contributions to help the Haitian people.
If you are donating from within the USA we recommend The Philadelphia Foundation which has a deciated Haiti fund.
Why is Capital for Good a niche fund?
Capital for Good is most anxious not to replicate existing solutions and to this end we prefer to handle donations that are greater than £1,000 and from outside the USA, however we can accept smaller donations, especially online using our page at www.justgiving.com/capitalforgood.
