Warren is the International Director, and Sector Specialist for disaster and conflict recovery, of Geneva Global; one of the world's leading providers of philanthropic advisory services. He has been involved in humanitarian and development practice since 1988.
Warren's commercial background is in risk management within the insurance industry.
Warren has previously been director of The Leprosy Mission for England and chief executive officer of Merlin, a not-for-profit organisation which responds with vital health care and medical relief for people caught up in natural disasters, conflict and health system collapse.
Warren was involved in the founding and development of Medair, the Swiss humanitarian agency, and held a number of positions including executive director and country director.
Warren worked with the British Red Cross to examine the feasibility of an ombudsman for humanitarian assistance.
